Project Description
In May 2014, KB was awarded the contract for a $4m construction of the Celeste Regional Pond for Queensland. This was the first major QLNG project for the company. The project involved the earthworks and civil construction to complete a 400 megalitre HDPE lined reservoir to contain coal seam gas water. KB was the prime contractor to complete the works, which operated a continuous 7-day week operation, again delivering the works on time and without injury. The major feather to this project was the high level of workmanship and quality standards to achieve client acceptance. KB met these requests and delivered an exceptional product.
